stages

‘stages’ is a live music performance film set in the abandoned power plant Toppstöðin. A group of talented musicians gathers for an improvisational session, using music to express the various stages of grief experienced after the loss of a father. The film captures the raw interactions between the musicians, seamlessly drawing the audience from a theater perspective into the connection they share during the performance.

‘Stages’ got awarded the Jury Prize for Best Icelandic Short Film at RIFF, Reykjavik Internation Film Festival.
